Registration

There are three opportunities for students to register for classes at Ogeechee Technical College: New Student Registration, Current Student Registration, and Late Registration.

New Student Registration is the first chance new students have to register. After new students have completed orientation, they will be able to attend New Student Registration. New students should bring their acceptance letter and a printed copy of their e-mail confirming that they completed this online orientation to campus on new student registration day. Once students check in with an Admissions Office representative, they will be given directions to their advisors.

Current Student Registration is when students register during all future academic terms in order to avoid late fees and closed classes. Returning Student Registration occurs shortly after the midpoint of each term. Your assigned registration time will be based on the number of credit hours you have earned. Plan on speaking with your advisor each term BEFORE Current Student Registration begins. Your advisor may have specific dates and times available for advising current students, so plan accordingly.

Late Registration is the last time you can register before the next term's classes begin. If you wait until late registration, you will be required to pay a $45 late registration fee. In addition, class availability is limited during late registration because many classes may already be full.
